Our Cotton Gin facilities receive and process raw cotton to remove cottonseed and compress clean lint into cotton bales ready for export. About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse at the Dalby Cotton Gin. At the heart of what you'll do is efficiently and safely operating machinery and equipment such as forklifts and loaders. Your day will be filled with activities such as but not limited to:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Loading and unloading container
• Building bales loads and lots
• General maintenance of equipment and routine inspections
• Providing back up for DAFF Authorised Officer inspections of containers and cotton bales

What you need to bring

• Great work ethic, reliable and a positive attitude
• Be a team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Competent in operation of heavy equipment and machinery 
• Forklift licence
• Ability to work with data systems 
• Willingness to obtain DAFF Authorised Officer accreditation
• Willingness to work longer hours and weekends where required during the peak shipping season
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities to support the team
