Production Supervisor
Mungbean Splitting Plant - Pittsworth

We seek an experienced Production Supervisor to lead the physical grading, packing and value adding of pulses through the Pittsworth based plant.


In this hands on role you will:

  • Develop and implement processing plans to maximise efficiency
  • Ensure accurate production data records are maintained    
  • Ensure machinery is being operated effectively and safely by plant technicians
  • Complete and supervisor the intake and out-loading of commodities
  • Develop and execute maintenance programs to minimise emergency down time
  • Monitor and ensure quality and food safety standards are met
  • Monitor the container booking and pallet deliveries from site
  • Maintain a high standard of compliance adhering to AQIS and Olam food safety requirements
  • Ensure necessary inspections and hygiene maintenance are conducted as appropriate to ensure ongoing AQIS compliance

To be successful you must have prior experience in leading hand / supervisory role in a plant production environment and have knowledge of screen and gravity grading. You will be comfortable working in the shed and on a computer and have reasonable mechanical skills. You will also be a methodical worker with good communication and time management skills and the ability to work to set deadlines.


Qualifications: Forklift Licence, Licence Fumigator, AQIS Authorized Officer, Confined Space, Working at Heights are the preferred but not required qualifications.


Based at Pittsworth, you will be part of a team of seven people working across two sites. During the seasonal months you will be responsible for supervising additional casual labor.

Your role will be reporting to the Onsite Operations Manager.
